Ethan’s Corner

It’s Chinese New Year recently, and still. quite awhile didn’t write things hear but it’s a hell busy time for me before i get the holiday i wanted. CNY is surely an amazing event for me. Despite the number of activities is way little than expected, every of it is more interesting than expected.

     things start up very fast. i went back ipoh on Fri nite which was a heavy traffic during that time as expected. on tat nite itself, i got a surprise call from Emily. a late nite call is kind of odd, but in the end still went out for a drink with her. well, we went out quite late alr, so we went back even more late, but a light drink is quite ok then as we enjoy chatting all nite long.

     on the day of CNY, i did wat just everyone will do, visits. i went back to my parents hometown in Sitiawan. guess everyone did the same for those single ppl, get ang pau. it was a nice collection, i think i m quite happy with it. in fact, this is a very odd year for me coz besides my parents gave me annually, i have an extra ang pau came from my own brother! sum up the deal, it’s quite nice though. n weird is, i was talking bout such matters a few days before n it did happened!!! nice…

     2nd day CNY, a return visit from relatives. the focus will be on tat nite. we have a reunion for our ex-schoolmates of ACS. tat nite was quite crowded despite all are late comers (except me n ChungHong, Jerry can’t be included coz he’s the host!) attendance was quite ok, but not all couldn’t last whole nite like some of us did. a lucky nite for me, i won some good cash in gambling. n the whole nite was full of drunk drinkers (Tequila n Vodka) plus some KFC to fill in  for late supper meal.

     a break of few days for me then. in the middle of it, another meet up was made as got some early birds goin back alr the next day so we meet up the nite before. a supper at Persanjung, comes another surprise. we meet up the Bio class ppl (coz mine is Physic class) which was a very rare occasion. haven’t meet up most of them for ages, lucky can meet up them back despite only a short chat only. the nite ended with 3 of us (me, Eddy, TianTian) goin to MunChien’s home for a visit. n again, meet up more old frens, what a day…

     the following day, those who r still around meet up again on tat nite for a gaming in Infinity (cybercafe). we r kind of freak about this game as it’s a great time for us guys to hang out together besides chatting. our match is quite fun, we played DotA whole nite with interesting matches. then a supper in Fok Tsing coffee shop, n again, meet up old frens. so co incidence…

     another day, left only me n Kong. 2 of us meet up with Irene, an old fren we knew during form 6. supposed another gal should come (PohPing) but heard that she got some family matters to attend, so it was left us only. our meet up in Ipoh Parade was quite nice, our topic was more on serious one as we talked more bout jobs seeking. sigh, makes me wondering how to deal once i grad by this year…

     n finally the day before i left ipoh. the nite before, i ask back Emily out for a dinner. despite she’s busy with her stuffs, it’s nice she’s able to come out during tat nite. we have our dinner in Ye Olde English, quite a nice place for food. a nice nite with good food n good chat, although i think that our attention that nite was alot on the big screen TV n comes another surprise, i meet up my once senior schoolmates. didn’t saw them for years alr, glad that they r doin fine, would have been better if another one (Ricky) can make it there coz we 4 r great buddies in our society during those days…

     here, i m back in penang alr. obviously i miss my days in ipoh, it was very interesting n fun to meet up my family n frens. but things must come to an end. now back here, ready to suffer again with projects n exams. still, a moment to cherish. hopefully everyone happy with this celebration…
