About My Christamas…

well, no histories of Christmas here but just stories of what have been happenening recently on this holiday season. to most people, it’s their year end holiday but to people like me, it’s just like any other day, working despite majority of the world is celebrating the day…
to begin with, recent weeks was kind of busy with quite a few work stuffs. project (newsletter) dateline is scheduled end of this week, should be done, just wait for my editor to update me any follow ups. another project (annual dinner) is on progress, but no worries on that since i m just a small potato everywhere… 
during christmas week, not much to mention also but i went back to ipoh after 1 month plus didn’t return. sort of didn’t announce much on my return bcoz everyone returns to ipoh when i was about to leave, so just keep it for ownself. got some nice and good rest before return back to penang to work.
the day i return, that nite itself we have a teambuilding dinner for OSD Intradeco. location was local style mamak stall (ikan bakar opposite Seagate). well, despite our dinner wasn’t as impressive as other teams (that went to TGI’s Friday!), but the food was ok enough and the people around was great. it’s enjoying to have everyone around during that night. we even have an exchange gift that was planned earlier for the christmas celebration. it goes where everyone becomes each others "Santa" randomly to buy gifts. i myself got a great gift which is a baseball cap (thanks to my "Santa"). but the night was not easy to endure. as quoted by Stev and Vicknesh, we will remember 1 particular thing on that night itself. 
on christmas eve, the celebration was done in the office. not much of any events, highlight will have to be the food itself. we threw a small party with healthy food for lunch and unhealthy food for dinner. throughout the day, calls r ok but somehow i only recall i always carving food whole day. and it’s a day related to bread from morning till night…
then comes the christmas day itself. to compare it with other mondays, this is considered a very good day where calls r not that packed. celebration was just quite ok, morning we have a good laugh on the teambuilding picture browsing, later included Uno card games, and then some leftover fruits from yesterday party to fill up the day. but seriously, despite happy that calls r rare, it’s hard to kill the time. another highlight that i can think of will have to be a "pohpiah" as christmas gift!!! from the same person that almost got me a duck rice as gift on my b’day. this time i didn’t paid for it, but hopefully there will be a chance to repay u back, ok? 
end up till now, at home now chilling down. getting some good rest with windy night, feels cool here. hopefully celebration will go on till the end of the week and wish that there will be a better year ahead in 2007. enjoy the holidays everyone (n keep working if u r in the same situation as i do)
