1st thing 1st, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007!!!

i’ll skip the new year celebration, because i didn’t celebrate it. in fact, a few minutes after the countdown, i was asleep alr at home…

     what a year to begin with. as expected by a few of u who know my current situation, the new year was welcomed with a new change in my work life. i have team meeting today and was welcomed with a new working shift n i address it as "weird shift" or perhaps "Israel shift". the reason i say so is bcoz it is weird!!! previously i worked in CWW shift (Compressed Work Week) but now this is more different. work schedule is from 12pm till 9.15pm, from Sunday till Thursday with Friday and Saturday off. for ur info, it’s the same work time with Israelis. do i need explain more?

     more good news from the meeting itself. my boss got promoted, and have to give big congratz and credits to my 2 team leads (Julius and Stephen) for their promotion as well. Julius, u r 1 damn funny leader but technical wise, u r amazing but it’s time for u to deliver ur "baby" out!!! Stephen, u r 1 friendly leader that i m glad to know, life’s just boring without DotA n if u really want me to find a gf, then start introduce gals to me!!!

     as for other minor things, work is just ok as i have my whole team to stay cheerful n crazy for this coming year (we will need it for sure) and glad that i starting to get used with the environment. still got alot of strangers around me that i have to get to know them to make life easier at workplace and perhaps improve my social life. i have to improve my social life.

     regarding my old hometown buddies, i managed to meet up the rare kinds (Adryan, Jen, Jerry) back in ipoh. the coolest part is all 4 of us came from different area. me in penang, Adryan in Johor, Jen in KL, and Jerry in SIngapore. meet up Jerry first (and have to treat him Coffee Bean) before continue up with others the next day. utilize whole day itself with meals n movies and drinks. great to hang up back again like good old days, we even managed to bump into few more buddies (XiBing, ChengPerng, WengFatt) which is quite a rare moment. but too bad, this moment didn’t last long for me as i returned back to penang the next day to work. great times didn’t last long…

shall i do a highlight recap of Year 2006?

1. i graduated from uni successfully.
2. i found a job with reasonable pay.
3. got good recognitions by boss n manager (surprisingly, great)
4. i have more friends (actually colleagues, but it doesn’t matter)
5. i have my birthday celebration in the office (thanks everyone)
6. my clubbing at GLO (1st time there) was great!!!
7. got included into a project as commitee for newsletter
8. i got a christmas gift (nice, thanks again "Santa")
9. hometown buddies still keep in touch with each other well
10. i do not have any bad incidents happened like previous years…

and what do i expect for Year 2007?

1. i need MORE changes for the work shift.
2. money is the main thing, got government + family debts to clear
3. must improve my social life with more activities, plans, outings
4. a success in annual dinner (go for it our PM Jasmine!!!)
5. try spend more time with my family
6. keep in touch with all my hometown buddies
7. work towards improvement (salary raise), just like my seniors
8. be more healthy, get more sports (back to wushu? guess not)
9. get a gf? (somehow, it is just so hard for me to get 1…)
10. something to repeat from last year, no bad incidents…

     well, that concludes up what i have inside my mind here. yup, it’s a damn long blog. but i seriously appreciate u who were able to read it until here. again, my gratitudes to u for reading it. please leave a message or comments whenever u free. thanks.
