I can’t help acting weird recently, that’s why the title is odd…

     On such weekends when you can have a break for yourself, this will be a good light moment for me to write up happenings about myself and those related to me. Or should I say when I reach the breaking point, I need to say it out and maybe perhaps here is a nice spot to note it down…

     Throughout July, I found myself developed with more roles and responsibilty to bear with. Work place was crowded with alot of new hires, most of them already in progress of taking real life calls training a.k.a. reversing. This is the time when I myself will be overrun by them as need to train them up via reversing. Can’t help noticing how trembling they are when taking calls, maybe that’s the process that everyone needs to go through.

     Just about yesterday, I learned to take another heavy role, as the new editor for the company’s newsletter project. During the post-mortem meeting, things just got more "interesting" with the goals and expectations reaching high above the sky now! This is surely an upsky task (instead of uphill task :P) and I will be looking forward to join force with my co-editor Vicknesh to topple it. How should I say, the sense of responsibilty was felt strongly during that time as I am surrounded with advisors, supervisors, managers and the director himself. Shoulders do felt heavier now…

     Well, the night didn’t end at the meeting only, we were joined next with some great dinner treat. A buffet dinner at Tao Restaurant in e-Gate was definitely the best way to fill us up, it does felt worthy with such an grand appreciation dinner meal. Despite our director couldn’t join us, at least others can join in and I can felt my own presence among the management people in my company. I would say it’s a good start to look further ahead. And I learnt some "important" facts, exmples like EH Lee is an ice-cream maniac, Sue Ean is raw fish carver + wasabi maniac, and Owaise is trying hard with his chopsticks skill. To sum up, it’s great!

     Just when you thought the night is over, no it don’t! After the dinner ended, I was welcomed with a heavy rain. Looking at the watch, I only have 10 minutes to reach Q’bay to catch up a movie that I missed since its premiere, Transformers. Actually I planned to watch it on Wednesday with SinYi and YeeLoon (SinYi watched already but still on for 2nd round while YeeLoon is same as myself), but to my surprise, sold out already at our preference time. So end up watching Harry Potter instead (just a small highlight, we meet up with Beejay and Jane as well during that night for late dinner). Then thought Thursday would go, but SinYi got stuck with her work. By right it didn’t work for Friday as well as phone booking is full also (I kind of hate the phone menu in GSC :P) but luckily YeeLoon able to bought it after his work, so thanks to him!!!

     Another highlight of the week was a visit from my very old buddy all the way from KL, none other than our DJ Dieoxin a.k.a. Dena This is surely 1 hell of a buddy that I know since my school days. Recently this past week, he dropped by at our place here and tour around the island himself due to the fact that most of us are still working (he arrived on weekdays), but still managed to catch up some updates with him. Too bad Penang is not a place for you to show your DJ skills though…

     This is surely a long post. Just when I thought to end it, I recalled that I must mentioned some interesting stories also. New things to highlight in my workplace will be our new "names". Most of us are also supporting chat queues, and I can’t help noticing some of our users addressing us wrongly, our names are already typed in, and yet they prefer to give us more nicknames. I managed to highlight a few in recent times, even myself also can’t be escaped from it (I was referred as MI3 Ethan Hunt by a Cavite user). Firstly was Azura, she became the Spanish "Ajura". Then our TMG lead, Jeslyn, became the jelly "Jesley". And last but not least, our very own Vicknesh became the Bollywood star "Vickshay"

     It is indeed a great time here during July. And July is a nightmare with so many people’s birthday reminder here on Friendster But majority everyone might forget me already so let it be gone silently. I wonder if she will be reading this, but better say it out (I think if she’s too boring on call, she will :P). Just wanna say thanks to SinYi for the nice bracelet souvenier + the previous Bali keychain (she thinks it’s not fair because so far only she bought for me, I never buy anything yet for her :P). Hopefully there’s chance for me to travel and repay you back instead.

     So how should I say here? Let’s stop for now and enjoy the weekend…
