Gonna be busy month?

Once again, got reminded by others to update my blog and this time I am going to highlight their name here to test if they going to do it again or not :P One of them send me reminder via MSN like a warning message (Sinyi), the other posted request in comment column (Wei Wei). Is that really necessary? -_-|||

To start things off, looks like I am back to my old habit of updating blog once a month. Probably I am always into something else which caught my attention away from here. For sure, there are lots of things ongoing and I should have updated some of them sooner than now because I am kind of struggling to recall back things that had happened which is worth the write-up here.

One of the highlights was quite silly though. It was a gathering at Alva’s home where some of us do cooking together (myself, Alva, Alice, Sai Yik, Beng Hooi, Julius, Darek) and some of us brought up our Transformers collection to show off (myself, Darek, Beng Hooi, Alva) :P Definitely a good get together plan as most of us are colleagues who really need the break time. Turns out I am one of the main contributor of the toys (bringing in 1st and 2nd movie toys in 2 boxes), and displaying them all together on table is really grand. I wonder how I am going to display it for myself next time when I get myself a cabinet :P

Another outing together was quite an odd one which is a seafood dinner at Bukit Tambun together with another batch of colleagues (myself, Sue Ean, William, Dylan, Poh Theng). Initially Stephen should joined, but couldn’t make it last minute (wasted). It was the first time that I joined them together on a outing and surely is a eye opener to see how much we ate that day as I can recall almost 9 dishes shared among 5 of us! For a dinner 1 hour plus, I guess it is quite a full dinner plus good time together to know them better as I will be dealing with them more in future (due to changes in my job nature) :D

Speaking of job, actually I am in the progress of changing job scope (again). You can say that for the past few months (9 months), my work direction has been quite lost if you ask me. After so many discussions, meetings, arguements, confronts, and re-orgs, no solid solution can be written out still. Currently I am only betting on the current change that probably will suite me in, and if this also went lost, it is a pure waste of time. Not the part of time that I enjoy though…

Back to my title, August finally. Actually I am only looking forward to the Genting trip that long planned since June with my ex-schoolmates. Now it looks like going to be 2 way trip. Another exact trip to the same location at the same time is being organized by my ex-coursemates for reunion also (the culprit must be Sinyi :P ). Not really sure if this is actually a good or bad thing for me, because I can meet up with 2 gang of friends at the same time. But how am I going to split myself to join both of them?!

And comes yet another clash, a gathering for Kung Fu Club members (my batch plus my seniors batch) is in plan for end of this month but no specific confirmation yet. If it is going to be as planned, then I have to go KL straight 2 weekends. While it will be quite fun to have so much reunion, is it that ok to travel so much? I already did that much at work, do I have to do the same even for leisure times? Also, I am guessing somebody gonna throw me a wedding invitation card during that reunion. Anyway, congratulations Eric :D

Expecting also some minor gatherings, meet ups with colleagues and friends here (actually the friends is also colleagues in the end :P ) so August is gonna be rocking me a lot. One important factor that I really going to take note here is to take care of my health, because I am now surrounded by sick people everywhere especially on the hazy weather nowadays. To you who read till here, make sure you take care of yourself too :D

And for good practice, I guess it is best that I stop here now. You have your wait for my next post, and I have my rest now. Thanks for reading! :D

Have to be reminded by friend again that I didn’t update my blog. How ironice it is, but at least I felt glad because there are people who do care to read my blog :D

So what is going on for the past few weeks that kept me away from blogging? Well, practically you will feel funny reading this when I am gonna say that it was Transformers, the movie itself. Quite a number of events related to the movie itself thus keeping me busy and yet entertained. :P

Nearly one month since my last entry post. After bound with repeats (3 times) of watching “Terminator Salvation”, I was anticipating the next movie, which was “Transformers Revenge of the Fallen”. With arrangements done by my colleague, we (myself, BengHooi, Darek, Howard, Kenji) watched the show on the first official screening day 24th June 2009. Our comments? Same like majority of the crowd, it was a great movie! Very entertaining, lots of action packed, awesome effects, and even some humour segments. Obviously the movie for the people :D

While I do expect to watch the movie for the second time since I got a bunch of friends also hinting me to watch together, I never thought that it will be the next following day! SoonTat asked me to go watch last minute though, and I didn’t expect to watch cause it will be hard to get tickets. Indeed true that it was full at first, but scenario changed after dinner. SoonTat went back again and the lady at the counter managed to get us 2 tickets while the guy was announcing sold out. What a luck! Possibly it was the same lady who I meet also when I first watched the show. Yes, I watched in the same cinema in Queensbay :P

Coming the weekend, actualy I also went to see the Transformers fair together with Darek especially since he’s a photographer now. Apart from the toys fair, we also noticed that there’s a contest of “Mikaela Look-Alike Contest”. And really is an eye opening to see those models posing with the superbikes. Despite there are some that really cannot see :P but still there are winners that are truely model. Still, none of them are alike Megan Fox :D

Speaking of toys, some of you might aware that I also do collect the movie toys. Collected alot from the first movie, thus the second movie is a similiar case too. Hunting toys was quite an interesting thing to do, feels like going back kids days :) To be a collector, it comes with a heavy price $$$ and I sure do spend quite a lot on it. Watching the stuffs display at your desk does feel good, minus you start to calculate the price and value of each :P At least I am not the most extreme collector among my friends so far, so no pressure… :D

Yup, already July, and wondering what to do also. Of course, money spending is quite crazy recently so gotta do some planning especially for the Genting trip usage next month. Things are going good for the plan of the trip, just that I was expecting more or certain people to join in, and some “guests” too :P But have to understand also, can’t force people to join. Just hope with good mood, people will consider it. Apart from this trip also, probably I gonna take extra days off to meet up with friends in KL and also Ipoh. With accumulated annual leaves, that’s how I use it. Besides, I am not going anywhere oversea trips. Sounds like a loser when saying this… :P

Honestly, since the last entry post, I have been thinking of something in particular that bothers me and I can’t get over with. Feeling weird and confusing, and also hard to explain. But this one is not going to enter here because the post is getting longer already. So here’s the pause for now…

Hopefully my next post is on my own call, rather than reminder by someone :P

It is one of those days where I came back from a holiday looking refreshed and in mood to endure back the harsh things here. And because I am in the mood, there’s sharing here that I think deserves the attention here :D
But before the holiday starts, actually I do endure a very rough week with arguements with bosses (yes, I argue with some bosses) which really not in my favour and tension raised the stake till I almost quit my job because of this matter. Lucky that I am able to share this out with my friends, and logically I am sorting things out to live with it as for now. Problem solving part, gonna figure it out in a later time…

And comes the good part of the story. I took leave to find some room to escape from the island. Normally I go back hometown in Ipoh which should be good enough. For this time, I took extra step to go all the way to KL to meet up with friends there. Took a train this time which is very punctual but unlucky abit because the air-con KO for that day :P
Saturday, I reached punctually in KL in 3 hours time. My brother fetched me up and directly went to “1U” to meet up with my old bud Dena for our dinner at A&W (I picked it because can’t find it in Penang :P ) while waiting for others to arrive. Great things happen when Dena’s around. We were into arcade gaming, a place where we grew up but wasted that no DJ machines there :P Also, he brought me to rooftop of “1U” to try out the newest thing in my life, BASEBALL! I watched this game before but never in my life to be able to play it. Possibly the biggest experience for me, and I kind of like it though (not sure if I am good in it). For sure, if there’s next time, that is one thing that I will come back for! :D
The others make up later on were Eddy and KaiWah. All 4 of us went for movie Terminator Salvation. Actually me and Dena watched already but just wanna rewatch it again. Don’t know if it’s a joke or not but I am sitting at the same place where I watched it in Penang with my colleagues, 3rd row from the screen! Feels like doesn’t serve the purpose of rewatching the show like this, at least change the place for me! :P
After movie, we went up for supper nearby Damansara area (don’t know the shop name, Dena and Eddy simply label the place as “Red” and “White” only based on the shop banner). For supper, quite luxury also for 4 of us having rojak, chicken wings, and satay. But what matters most that night was the conversation among us. Being awhile didn’t gather together, I noticed everyone has alot to say and share especially those logics about gals (of course thanks to the full moon on that night :P ) The outing lasted till 2am, and what a blast for that night it is, thanks guys! ;)
Sunday morning didn’t start off well as my bro was sick. Unlike the normal routine we do of having breakfast together, this time I went out eat alone driving my bro’s car.  Lucky I didn’t lost because it’s my first time driving around in Puchong. After bought some food and checking out that my bro is ok and better, I went out with Sinyi to make up for her belated birthday celebration as promised :)
Not sure whether to say whether I am lucky to be able to date her out or she’s lucky that I am treating her whole day :P Our location was Mid Valley where we head for lunch at “Rak Thai” which we both agreed not recommended due to too many weird dishes especially the drink! Did go tour around the mall shopping while waiting for movie (watched “Hannah Montana” which is quite a good). And finally I bought new shoe :D

Movie done, shopping done, we head to our dinner location near Puchong area, Shabu Shabu (I forgot the actual name) which is steamboat. Nice place to dine in as the food there came in set and quite clean (got personal wok to cook :) ) and for sure way much better than the lunch! :P Dinner was the final thing done before Sinyi fetched me back home. Good quality time together :)
Next following day, back to Ipoh, and then back to Penang much later of the day. And with that, concludes my trip here.  Like everyone said, back to my own reality world after holiday. Glad to say that I managed to find something to enlighten me up when needed. :)

I shall look forward to such trips again! And that ends my post here…. :)

PS: Glad that I edited this post. The original one was way longer :P

Almost forgot…

Yup, almost forgot to update my blog. Actually I wrote a post already in my office laptop inside a notepad, but I forgot to post it out due to too many other ongoings around me. And of course, I lazy to turn on the office laptop at home :P
Checking back the date, I am backlapping to do my posting once a month. Really do start to feel slack recently as I am trying to occupy my time with any activities to utilize my time. Work part, sad to say but just not into it to talk about it. Too many ongoing things that really get on my nerves in every aspect. The possible consolation for this matter is that I am not the only person facing this, so here’s a shoutout to my colleagues if they are reading this! :P
So here’s some of the things that I have been up to. Recent times I had gathering with my colleagues (can say ex-colleagues since no longer same department). Did have a lunch together at Haven’s Delight (buffet lunch, nothing special on the food but lack of service), and also a movie together to watch Angels & Demons (which is quite a good movie, better in comparison to The Da Vinci Code) plus a drink together after the movie at Starbucks. Very enjoying such time, hoping I can be involving more in such things. :D
Remember the thingy about plastic kit modelling? Yup, I am into it bit by bit recently. Every Sunday evening, I will join Darek and BengHooi to Modelland for workshop on modelling the kit. I am tied up with HG 1/144 Throne Zwei, and obviously I picked the right kit because I am learning lots of skill with such challenging kit (heard from them that HG 1/144 are quite tough due to lots of cleaning ups). Quite fun, but have to control own self as it is quite costly to do advanced level. To them, they define it as “poison”!!! :P
Into photography, I did nothing much though. Just testing on things, and then look into the result, done. Feels like I am just wasting battery power only :P As for building website, I have the frame up ready already but now lack of contents to put in. Did do some sports recently, but not as much as expected. Was wondering if I can afford to go for dancing as part of excercise… (got kaki, but we all still blur about that) :P
Genting trip with my classmates is still an ongoing process. Getting their attention is not the hard part though, but getting people to respond is the tough thing. Good news is at least I have 14 in the list, so I guess it will be good start. Later part will be the sort of event management thingy which requires volunteers. That will be hard too, hahaha!!! :P
Past few days really is very tiring for me, not enough sleep and also unnecessary stress. Can only pump into myself, and somehow I don’t find the right person to listen me bragging. Still thinking of yet another KL trip again to visit friends, never thought that I am well accepted among my friends in KL. Just that don’t know if my brother is that convenient to accept me there again :D

I guess this will be the pause for now. Hope I won’t be lazy again, while I am waiting my neck long for Transformers 2!!! (have to play with the toy while waiting :P )

Hot yet dry weather…

Can’t find a good title, but it best describes recent weather nowadays. Dry till wanna get sick, but no time for MC… :P
To start things up, this blog post was reminded by some of my friends who read this actually. Never thought I got people tell me (some sounds like scold me somemore :P ) to write blog since it’s been awhile already. Checked back the date, roughly near 3 weeks so it’s reasonable to write one here now. The consolation for this outcome, I have loyal readers. Thank you :D
From the last update, I would say not much have been going nowadays. In fact, things do cool off for me personally. Talking bout work, I somehow managed to find back my comfort zone again and just passing time doing some routine works. Despite got some tasks required to be done from me after “meeting” with my colleagues at Old Town, I am appraoching stuffs part by part. Now just awaiting the next phase till the end part, and I will be back to where I left in learning management stuffs…

Done with work, comes the supposed better part of my life. Recently got quite a number of plans for outing, but ended up being FFK-ed (based on Darek’s term, I think the category for my FFK case is First Class which means very last minute cancel :P ). But still, there’s other things to look forward. I still hoping to have outings just like these few days. The highlight of recent times probably was the one where I went to OXO with my hometown friends for beer-drinking, and play games in cybercafe today in Infinity and NetCity.

Into the hobby section, I am just plain playing photo taking with my camera on things around but not as much as others (probably due to the price of the camera I have compared to others :P ). In a forum, I saw my buddy Darek won competition for Gundam thingy (and won a Sinanju worth RM300++) which is very interesting though. Too bad I don’t have such skill to play around, hehe….

Future plans, hoping for MORE outings, MAYBE do some Gundam stuffs (if rich, go join MDL competition :P ), NEED to fix my PSP, PROBABLY want to fix some stuffs on car, and MUST help in making my class gathering in Genting a success! Quite ok for this short term plan so let’s hope everything goes well…. :D
By the way, it’s torturing to wait for ABDC season 4 (probably August or November 2009) as I have been repeating watched season 1,2,3 for the past few months, and I am not one bit bored of it! :P
